DescriptionThe single most important piece of information every EV driver needs to know is the state of charge of their battery. This device offers an elegantly simple solution, using the vehicle's original fuel gauge to display your EV battery's state of charge. As well simplifying installation, using the original fuel gauge provides the most intuitive feedback for drivers.
Installation simply involves routing one of your power cables through the large hole (22mm diameter), hooking up the ground and 12V supply, then the white wire attaches to the fuel tank sensor wire from your instrument cluster (the wire which originally went to the sensor in your petrol tank).
Adjustment is achieved by tuning a single pot. The device can be tuned for pretty much any EV with a battery pack capacity anywhere from 20Ah to 500Ah (at any voltage) and the original fuel gauge still in place. It can read up to 1200A in both directions.
