Description

Here at EV Works we grew tired of resistive potboxes wearing out and becoming unreliable, so we collaborated with a manufacturer to design these great hall effect throttle boxes.

Hall effect sensors are based on non-contact magnetic proximity sensing, so have a virtually unlimited service life. The output is a linear 0-5V signal, so will work with any controller requiring a 0-5V throttle input (such as Kelly, ZEVA, Siemens, UQM, etc).

This throttle box shares the same physical dimensions as the common Curtis PB-5/6 and the same high quality stainless steel construction. They also have a microswitch with Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts, useful for redundant safety (e.g switching your controller Enable pin or engaging the main contactor).

Wiring:
Blue: +5V
White: Hall signal (0-5V output)
Brown: 0V / ground
