Bulgarian company Kostov Motors have been making electric motors for over 50 years and are well-known among EV enthusiasts for their excellent value and reliable performance. EV Works is proud to be their exclusive distributor for the Australasian region.

Kostov's 17R HV motor is a compact 220mm frame size series DC motor, ideal for EVs up to around 1200kg. Its higher voltage rating gives a higher power rating than other motors in its class. These motors also include interpoles to improve commutator timing and performance.
