DescriptionThese are a low-cost alternative to the Albright range of contactors, and are of a very similar design. This ZJW400A model is equivalent to the SW200, and is typically used as main power contactors and/or battery isolation contactors in road-going EVs.
Contacts are rated to 400 amps continuous, but can handle up to 1000A short term. There is a 12 volt solenoid to close the contacts which draws about 1.2 amps when energised.
Terminals are 3/8" diameter, cable lugs with 10mm hole are a good fit.
