These are a low-cost alternative to the Albright range of contactors, and are of a very similar design. It is a single-pole, normally open contactor commonly used as the main contactor to power up traction circuits in electric vehicles. Contacts are rated to 50 amps continuous, but can handle up to 120A short term. There is a 12 volt solenoid to close the contacts which draws about 0.8 amp when energised. Terminals: 2x M8 Shock rating: 3G Operating time: 30ms make or break Weight: 400 g
